Accuracy of content

We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website. We strive to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. If we discover any errors in the price of goods before we accept your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to complete your order at the correct price or cancel the order.

Prices displayed on this site may differ from catalogue prices. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT at the standard rate. The prices of goods dispatched to the Channel Islands and to outside the EU zone will be reduced by the standard rate of VAT. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. Kit Box shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account. Kit Box shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account.

Personal information is private and therefore treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality. We never make your personal details available to other companies for marketing purposes. We may hold your personal details in order to process your order and/or maintain your account.

Ordering errors

Any shortages, discrepancies or damages with any order must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of goods. After arrangement has been made, erroneous goods must be returned in unused condition within 7 days.
You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you submit the form on the final page of our ordering process. We deal with orders as promptly as possible and cannot guarantee that we will be able to make any alterations to your order after it has been submitted.

Delivery charges

Charges for delivery are not included in the stated product price. We cannot be held responsible for delays that are outside of our control. Delivery charges select cannot be refunded. For full details please refer to our postal policy section.

Acknowledgment of your order

All orders are subject to scrutiny over the accuracy of address details and card-holder details. Where any of the details provided arouse suspicion in ourselves, or on the advice of our merchant service providers, we may reject any order without notice.

If you have supplied us with your email address, an automatic confirmation of order email is sent to the address supplied to confirm receipt of your order. Any email or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order placed by you does not constitute legal acceptance of your order.

Delays

Occasionally, the acquisition of your goods may be delayed. This can be for various reasons such as material shortages, higher-than-anticipated demand or special-order items. We will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed of any delay when it is known to us.

Cancellation rights, returns, alterations and refunds

No goods may be returned without prior arrangement with Kit Box. Return of goods for any reason other than faults and damages must be arranged within seven working-days of receipt and may be subject to a handling charge of 20% of their retail price at Kit Box’s discretion. Refunds will only be paid by means of original payment. We will not refund onto another card issuer's credit or debit card. Refunds will only be processed upon receipt of returned goods. Postage and packaging costs for returning goods to Kit Box will be reimbursed only when goods are found to be faulted or damaged.

Under current distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. Where goods are delivered to a third party you will only be able to exercise this right if you are able to return to us the goods you ordered. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that returned items reach Kit Box in no worse condition than they themselves received them in. Refunds for returns that do not meet this standard may be made at the discretion of Kit Box.

Once an order has been processed (i.e. Paid for, and/or packaged, and/or ready for dispatch, or dispatched), cancellation of an order or item will incur a handling fee of 5% of the cost of that order or item. No refunds for postage and packaging will be made. We consider this to be a custom build item subject to the Distance Selling Regulations (2000).

Once an order has been processed (i.e. Paid for, and/or packaged, and/or ready for dispatch, or dispatched), we will not accept any requests to add products or make alterations to the contents of the order. Where possible, if an order has not been processed, additions or alterations may be made at the discretion of Kit Box.

Restrictions on purchase

Where the order concerns bladed articles or similar: by placing an order you confirm that you are over the age of 18.

Where the goods are for export outside of the United Kingdom, we may refuse or adjust an order where the destination country has restrictions on the goods ordered, or where the carrier is unable to accept them (e.g. flammable substances). In the event of goods being sent outside of the UK, it is for the customer to ensure that their goods are appropriate for use in their location.
